Andrew Cochrane, Managing Director of Nathan, said: Shades has been a year in the making and it has been our passion to develop another new range that both Nathan collectors and people new to Nathan will love.
We wanted to create a range that was flexible and would fit into peoples homes and we are confident that there is something in the Shades range that will suit any house. We pride ourselves on making furniture that is made to last and Shades has the makings of a collection that can be added to for many years to come.
Rob Scarlett, Head Designer at Nathan and winner of The Cabinet Makers Young Designer of the Year Award, said: "When coming up with the design for Shades I drew influences from many areas. The range has a Scandinavian feel with clean lines and a fresh youthful look and it is streamlined and will work well in most styles of room. I also took inspiration from the 1970's, which is quite obvious as some of the pieces have a real retro look to them."
