Nathan Furniture is launching an innovative Living Dining Collection at the AIS Furniture Show in January 2017.
Contour is a 13-piece capsule collection designed to fulfill consumer demand in the growing oak market for compact pieces and which pay homage to Nathan’s iconic mid-century style.
The range has been created in collaboration with leading designer Ian Cull. With quality and style a major influence in consumer buying, Ian’s designs showcase the finest oak veneer with striking grained detail. Unique feature handles curved edges give the collection a tailored feel, maximising its potential both on the shop floor and in the modern home.
This January will be the first-time Nathan Furniture has exhibited at the AIS Furniture Show for a number of years and will act as an effective platform to launch this latest offering to the UK’s leading retailers.
Ian Cull, designer of Contour said: “There was a clear place within Nathan collections for a more contemporary product to sit alongside the existing and ever popular Shades and Classic ranges. We believe the innovative nature of this collection will contribute to the evolution of the brand, whilst reflecting Nathan’s 100-year heritage of quality and craftsmanship.”
“The new collection is in line with Nathan’s signature look, by including iconic details such as the sunburst veneer on the circular extending dining table, but also shows progress, focused on versatile design.”
John Parcell, Sales Director at Nathan Furniture commented: “We have listened to our retail customers and we believe the sleek feel of this collection is a positive step towards developing and expanding consumer appeal into a modern UK market.
“Working in collaboration with British designers is part of our ethos for home-grown design. This, combined with investment in new products, is essential to ensure the Nathan brand is constantly evolving to fit with current trends and demands. This collection will highlight our design credentials but also our furniture making skills to the crowds at the AIS Show in January.”
