Design Wins Top Award
Nathan has been awarded a Design Guild Mark by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers which recognises the finest designers in the country.
Nathan's new Citadel 21 chair is one of only 20 designs to be awarded a Design Guild Mark. The Mark is awarded for excellence in design use of materials, manufacture and function.
Jonathan Hindle, Chairman of the Design Guild Mark judges commented “The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers introduced the Guild Mark to reward the work of the finest furniture designers working in volume production in Britain.” The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers is the Livery Company of the City of London for the British furniture industry.
Citadel 21 was designed by furniture designer Anne Sewell, who comments: “It is a great honor to be recognised it this way and shows furniture created for the mainstream can have excellent design credentials.”
